Branding Session Spotlight: Personal Training

Strong brands are authentic, consistent, and unique. My home, Portland, is known for being all three of those. Within this quirky, beautiful city are beautiful, hard-working people. Today I’d like to spotlight Sophie Yip, a personal trainer and life coach, whom I had the pleasure of working with to create branding photos for her website (check it out! www.iscoaching.net)

Sophie had a strong vision at the start. We captured natural movement, mid-lift moments, and in-between details that help potential clients instantly understand her approach. Instead of overly posed fitness photos, this branding shoot was designed to feel honest, grounded, and aligned with the trainer’s personal brand.
Gym environments present unique challenges, from mixed lighting to tight spaces, but those elements are also part of the story. By leaning into the textures of the space and the rhythm of a real workout, we created cohesive branding images that work across a website, social media, and marketing materials.
Branding photography for personal trainers is about more than polished visuals—it’s about trust and connection. Strong brand photos help Portland-based trainers and fitness professionals show up consistently and professionally online, making it easier for the right clients to find and book them.
If you’re a personal trainer, coach, or wellness professional in Portland, Oregon, a branding session gives you a visual foundation for your business—images that reflect your work, your values, and your expertise.
