Favorite Photography Locations – Trillium Lake / Mt. Hood

After Timberline Lodge, Trillium Lake is the runner up in my list of favorite photo session locations. On a clear day, the lake sits beneath the most iconic view of Mt. Hood. A trail (which transitions in and out of a boardwalk) loops around the lake and offers several breathtaking stopping points for photos. You’ll find beautiful wildflowers along the way during the spring and summer. Trillium Lake is also a wonderful choice in any season.
