Frequently Asked Questions
I’m so glad you’re here. Choosing a photographer is about more than just finding someone with a camera—it’s about finding a partner who understands the beautiful, chaotic, and fleeting moments that make your family “you.” Whether you are preparing for your baby’s first milestones or looking to refresh your family portraits, I want the process to be as seamless and stress-free as the session itself.
Below, I’ve gathered answers to the questions I hear most often—from styling tips and location choices to what happens if the Portland weather doesn’t cooperate. If you don’t find what you’re looking for, please don’t hesitate to reach out!

The total cost is $349 for weekday (M-F) sessions, and $399 for weekend (Saturday/Sunday) sessions. This includes a download of the full-resolution, edited, digital images. Specific retouching may be an additional cost, but varies by request.
Your payment covers the session itself, and a download of all the full-resolution, edited, digital images. ‘Edited’ refers to global adjustments, such as exposure and color correction. It also includes standard retouching, if needed, to your favorite images (around 10 favorites). Please note that some retouching requests are complex and may be impossible or require an additional fee.
I dedicate up to 1 hour to every session, though depending on weather and other factors, that can run a little shorter or longer.
It includes 5 sessions: newborn, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, and 1st birthday (cake smash!). It is the perfect way to capture your baby’s first year of life.
A typical session produces around 50-100 final, edited, full-resolution images.
Here’s a list of my recommended locations.
The total package cost varies based on your selected session dates, as weekday and weekend sessions are priced differently. No matter which combination you choose, you’ll receive a total of 20% savings when booking the First Year package!
Absolutely! Most (but not all) high schools require a traditional headshot for the yearbook. I make sure to shoot a variety of close up headshots as well as full body shots throughout your session so that you have options.
To ensure your yearbook photo meets your school’s requirements, please send me your school’s specifications and submission deadline before your session. I’ll prepare your yearbook image according to those requirements.
Most of my clients submit their yearbook photo themselves, but I’m happy to help if needed. No matter who submits the image, it’s important that you confirm with your school that it has been received before the deadline.
About half of my seniors bring no additional outfit changes, while the other half bring 1-2 in addition to what they are wearing when they arrive. Of those, many choose 1 outfit that is more formal and the other outfit is more casual. What you wear is really up to you and your personality!
Yes, I offer 360 tours in both Zillow and Matterport platforms. I can include schematic floor plans, as well.
I do not offer video services; only photography and 360 virtual tours.
I do charge a travel fee for locations outside of the greater Portland area. Please contact me for a quote.
With a formal college education in photography and more than 16 years of experience, I elevate your real estate photos by using techniques that require a bit more time than usual. I don’t take shortcuts that rely heavily on quick, unrealistic post-processing. That extra time and care is reflected in my pricing.
My turn around time for most shoots is 2-3 weeks, but I realize that things move quickly in real estate and photography is often the last piece of the puzzle before a listing goes live. If you need a quick turnaround, please contact me to chat about details.
